About
The Project Management Officer (gn) will work in the operational environment of the EUAA on the premises of the BAMF in Nuremberg.
He/she will support the BAMF in the following tasks, under the coordination and supervision of the EUAA Measure Coordinator:
Responsibilities
- Design and develop projects and modules; conduct stakeholder, needs, and feasibility analyses
- Support detailed project planning with milestones, timelines, and work packages; establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework and tools; coordinate and monitor project activities
- Develop and implement monitoring and reporting methods and tools; create regular and ad-hoc reports
- Support the organization and moderation of workshops, meetings, and group discussions
- Analyze processes and propose improvements
- Develop and coordinate a change management strategy, including communication plans and feedback mechanisms
- Design documents, templates, and guidelines for planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and change management
- Fulfill other relevant tasks in the interest of the mandate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in relevant fields such as Project Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Communication, IT/Digital, Law, Social Sciences, International Relations, or related areas
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or similar roles, ideally in areas such as asylum and reception, migration, social affairs, humanitarian work, or the non-profit sector
- Very good MS Office skills
- Very good German skills (minimum C1 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
- Good organizational skills with strong prioritization
- Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with the Security Screening Act (SÜG)
