About
The Senior PMO Data-oriented position aims to lead and coordinate strategic projects and programs in a digital transformation environment, within a group specializing in the security and protection of vacant properties.
Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role guarantees the overall performance of projects (deadlines, costs, quality, risks) and relies on strong data mastery to support decision-making and structure PMO practices across the group.
Activities Description
Project and Program Management
- Ensures operational and strategic management of complex, multi-stakeholder projects (planning, budget, risks, quality).
- Defines and maintains project governance tools: reporting, KPIs, dashboards, action plans.
- Prepares, leads, and monitors steering committees (COPIL) and decision-making bodies.
- Coordinates project teams and ensures alignment of internal and external stakeholders.
- Guarantees adherence to project methodologies adapted to the context (Agile, V-cycle, hybrid).
- Proactively identifies and manages risks, dependencies, and blocking points.
- Participates in project portfolio reviews and contributes to budget arbitration with management.
Project Scoping and Construction
- Participates in upstream project scoping: drafting launch notes, business cases, and project sheets.
- Evaluates and structures functional and operational needs expressed by business departments.
- Contributes to workload estimation, definition of necessary resources, and initial planning.
- Ensures the technical, economic, and organizational consistency of proposed projects.
- Acts as the PMO referent for their scope, including for operational project managers in charge of existing projects.
Internal Interface and Commitment Monitoring
- Collaborates closely with Business, IT, Finance, and HR departments for cross-functional projects.
- Ensures transmission and consolidation of elements necessary for the smooth running of projects after validation.
- Contributes to internal client satisfaction and adherence to contractual and operational commitments.
- Acts as the link between field teams, service providers, and management bodies.
- Ensures good information flow between the company's various departments.
Continuous Improvement and Performance Contribution
- Enters and maintains monitoring and steering tools (CRM, reporting tools, dashboards).
- Contributes to monitoring the project portfolio, allocated budgets, margins, and forecasts.
- Identifies areas for optimization in PMO practices and proposes targeted action plans.
- Implements standards, methodologies, and best practices at the department or group level.
- Maintains technological and methodological watch on PMO and data tools and practices.
- Is proactive in proposing improvements to steering processes, tools, and practices.
- Participates in capitalizing on lessons learned and in upskilling teams.
Education
- Master's degree (Bac +5) (engineering school, business school, university - project management, IS, or management specialization).
- A project management certification (PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP) is a valued asset.
Experience
- Significant experience of 5 years or more in project management / PMO, in a structured, multi-project environment.
- You have managed complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience in a sector related to security, operational services, or digital transformation is highly appreciated.
- You are comfortable intervening in both strategic (management, arbitration) and operational (field monitoring, coordination) dimensions.
Technical Skills
- Advanced mastery of project management tools: Avaza.
- Excellent command of Excel (Pivot tables, macros, modeling) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Notions in SQL or database manipulation (a plus).
- Understanding of data environments: data flows, data quality, data governance.
- Good knowledge of IS architectures and digital transformation challenges.
