Project Manager

About

Analytics responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering large-scale IT and analytics projects for utility clients. This role ensures successful execution across scope, schedule, budget, and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and implement large-scale analytics and IT projects
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality to ensure successful delivery
• Direct project team personnel and manage cross-functional teams, including vendors and stakeholders
• Develop project management plans, governance processes, and work breakdown structures
• Manage project financials including budgets, forecasts, accruals, and tracking actuals vs. plan
• Ensure contract compliance and serve as the primary customer interface
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per PMO standards
• Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion
• Provide regular project communications including status reports, dashboards, and updates
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including executives, SMEs, schedulers, and controllers
• Support risk assessment, planning, and execution across project lifecycle
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with business needs

Required Technical Skills

• Project Management methodologies and PMO processes
• Project financial management (budgeting, forecasting, accruals)
• Project scheduling and scope management
• Analytics project management experience
• Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools
• Risk assessment and project planning
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• PMP certification or equivalent
• Previous project management experience within a utility environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience as a Project Manager
• Experience managing analytics projects
• Strong experience managing project financials, schedules, scope, and testing
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent customer-facing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• No security clearance required
