Role Overview

As part of a major acquisition, the position aims to manage and coordinate purchasing activities related to the business transfer, with a particular focus on purchasing, supplier, and industrial performance issues. The position holder will provide direct support to the Deputy Purchasing Director, in a multi-site and international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business transfer schedule (sites / factories / suppliers).
  • Prioritize transfer-related tasks based on cost, deadline, and quality objectives.
  • Coordinate activities with Purchasing, SPM, Quality, Methods, Industrial, and Project teams.
  • Query and consolidate contributions from subject matter experts.
  • Analyze and synthesize requests from prescribers.
  • Ensure the consistency of purchasing architectures and tools (ERP, supplier portals, SRM).
  • Manage and analyze the applicability of purchasing processes and adapt them if necessary.
  • Consider EN9100 requirements and supplier quality issues.
  • Apply a methods / continuous improvement logic in the transfer organization.
  • Contribute to the structuring of management indicators and monitoring.
  • Functionally manage buyers based internationally.
  • Support the purchasing director in preparing governance bodies.

Profile

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in Purchasing.
  • Knowledge of purchasing tools and IT systems (ERP, SRM, supplier portals).
  • Experience in managing industrial projects or business transfers.
  • Knowledge of the aeronautics sector is desirable.
  • Mastery or awareness of the EN9100 standard.
  • Experience in methods or continuous improvement is appreciated.
  • Notions of data / indicators / reporting are desirable.
