Requirements

  • 3โ€“7+ years of experience in cabinet and millwork project management, preferably in custom or commercial sectors
  • Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, materials, and finishes
  • Competence in reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings
  • Background in working with commercial construction teams and job sites
  • Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong emphasis on quality and deadlines
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar design software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AIA Billing and Textura (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of cabinet and millwork projects, from contract initiation to final closure
  • Assess architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and scope
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, general contractors, and internal production teams
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and material takeoffs
  • Supervise submittals, approvals, and modifications
  • Coordinate the procurement process for materials, hardware, and finishes
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate installation progress and maintain quality
  • Proactively address field issues, discrepancies, and conflicts
  • Monitor project costs and profitability; provide regular updates on project status
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, codes, and company protocols
  • Handle punch lists and manage project closeout documentation
