RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Project manager to support the continued expansion of our customer base in France and Europe. You will be in charge of projects in the energy sector in substations or power plants such as EDF (Nuclear/Hydro), RTE etc., and thus ensure optimal progress of the projects entrusted to you with the support of internal departments.
This position gives you a key role in direct contact with our end customers. We’re looking for independent people who think clearly, communicate effectively, and love seeing a project to completion.
MISSIONS
Documenting, and understanding customer requirements by being his direct contact.
Liaising with Sales and Technical applications engineer to ensure projects scope and customer specific details are captured prior to initiation.
Schedule I&C in line with our availability and customer requirements.
Preparing documentation for handover between internal functions ( Example: operations / support team/ Field Services) and supporting the smooth transition of order to field works
Ensure the document management required for each project
Ensure up to date information for order processing and shipping to enable products to be as requested and detailed.
Attending Safety meeting on site if necessary and completing site survey information as required.
Preparing draft reports outlining progress and deliverables.
Follow-up of projects on field until reception by customer.
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout and post projects.
Support our Field Team or customer in case of technical question.
Conduct customer training sessions
Support the non-conformance chain of issues within projects, working with technical support to ensure relevant feedback and details are recorded and actioned.
Creating Services Quotation.
National as well as International travels are part of the job
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering qualification or experience equivalent to minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering environment.
Previous experience in a project manager role in HV domain .
Good team player capable of delivering results under pressure and to strict deadlines
Service-oriented, customer-focused
Good project management skills and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have strong customer service skills and have the ability to interact confidently with customers and be able to provide training on equipment and products.
Very good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
Able to travel to customer locations, therefore a current passport and driver’s license are essential.
