Project Manager

We are seeking a experienced Project Manager with a background in Electrical engineering or similar. The candidate will be overseeing PLA and prevailing wage jobs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings and estimating jobs and managing projects. The Project Manager will report to a Senior Project manager and assist with office and field related tasks including attending field inspections and weekly meetings. Should be able to travel to job sites for meetings and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Managing various on going projects to ensure they are on time and within budget
• Do submittals, RFI's, AIA's and change order
• Be familiar with PLA and prevailing wage schedules
• Utilize Bluebeam or similar tools to perform take-offs and complete estimates
• Manage teams and create work schedules
• Ordering materials and schedule onsite deliveries
• Build relationships with clients and provide weekly reporting on projects
• Ensure work is performed safely and per electrical code
• File DOB permits and schedule inspections

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, Construction management, Project management or related field is required
• Experience working with NYC agencies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• 2-5 years of project management experiance required.

Pay

$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
