We offer you a position as Project Manager (m/f/d) Product Innovation within Maquet Cardiopulmonary GmbH in the Product Innovation department at our Hechingen site.

Your Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the Getinge strategy in product development
• Operational leadership of interdisciplinary projects in the development of medical devices, in which one or more project partners cooperate within and outside the company
• Leadership of the respective project team regarding project execution (especially scope, technical specifications, deadlines, costs, and quality) as well as technical-content coordination and decision-making with the relevant specialist departments
• Definition of tasks, competencies, and responsibilities within the project team and at the respective interfaces
• Preparation and follow-up as well as moderation of project meetings, reviews, and presentations
• Derivation of system or product requirements as well as technical-content coordination and decision-making with the project team
• Implementation and monitoring of operational and legal requirements in the area of responsibility
• Control and monitoring of supplying entities within the project, checking and discussing work results, and communication with stakeholders
• Ensuring quality-compliant development of medical devices according to the quality manual

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering, medical technology, biomedical engineering) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in development, preferably in medical technology (with relevant product knowledge)
• Sound knowledge in the areas of quality management for medical devices (ISO 13485), Quality System Regulation (21 CFR 820), GMP for medical devices, and the Medical Device Act (MPG)
• Ideally, experience in project management (e.g., PMP certificate)
• Good MS Office skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as project management and presentation skills
• Intrinsic motivation to drive change and make innovative medical devices available to users and patients
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Innovative ability combined with a goal-oriented, structured, and proactive way of working
• Communication and teamwork skills, reliability, as well as leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
