The Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of projects handed over from our Commercial team—ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll act as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external customers, coordinating across departments including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Commercial to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage multiple projects from handover through to completion
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Maximise project value by identifying and securing variations and additional work
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
  • Track project performance, reporting on progress, risks, and financials
  • Coordinate with Engineering and production teams to meet delivery timelines
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and debtor status, escalating concerns where needed
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including BOMs, trackers, and reports
  • Lead and contribute to regular project meetings and reviews
  • Support and guide junior team members where required

Key Skills and Competencies

The Candidate

  • Eligibility to work in the UK – no sponsorship will be offered
  • Must be able to commute to work
  • Highly organised and commercially aware with strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in project management within manufacturing or automotive environments
  • Confident working with technical data, drawings, and BOMs
  • A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Proactive in identifying risks, opportunities, and efficiencies
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, composites, or automotive sectors
  • Proven ability to deliver projects successfully against targets
  • Strong commercial understanding and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to interpret technical data (CAD knowledge advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience across sales, estimating, or business development is beneficial
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
  • Availability outside core hours when required at key project stages
  • Strong handover practices to ensure continuity during absence
