Project Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions, develop detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software, and establish clear milestones for project delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals.
• Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, schematics, blueprints, and contract specifications.
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations to optimize resources and costs.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, or Civil 3D to track progress, update schedules, and generate comprehensive reports.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines diligently while proactively addressing potential delays or issues through effective time management strategies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control, review blueprints and schematics, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project coordination on commercial or civil projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques, blueprint reading, contracts administration, and schematic interpretation.
• Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of civil 3D modeling and heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read schematics accurately while managing multiple priorities effectively through excellent time management skills.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards consistently.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams including engineers like , clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
