About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct project closure activities including lessons learned sessions, final reporting, and handover of deliverables to operations.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities and tracking progress.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria through quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Manage relationships with project stakeholders including clients, sponsors, team members, and vendors, ensuring clear communication.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com for planning and tracking.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct cross-functional project teams.
- Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for projects.
- A minimum of five to seven years of experience in managing projects of increasing complexity in the relevant industry sector.
- A bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- A recognised project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or CAPM from an accredited certification body.
