Project Manager – Building Automation

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager / Program Specialist to lead building automation and technical building services projects across Germany. This is a technical, client-facing role where you’ll manage projects end-to-end — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects across BMS / BAS / HVAC controls / security systems
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and service providers
• Support technical design, solution development, and proposals
• Procure equipment, materials, and external services
• Drive energy optimisation initiatives
• Lead client interactions, presentations, and site activities
• Ensure system performance and customer satisfaction
• Provide guidance to on-site technical teams

Requirements

• Degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Building Services, or similar
• Strong knowledge of building automation (BMS/BAS), MSR, HVAC or security systems
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management
• Experience managing budgets, P&L, and cost control
• PMP certification is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP and VOB/B advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, independent, and results-driven approach
• Comfortable working in an international environment
• Willingness to travel across Germany
• Fluent German and good English required
