Project Manager – Capital Markets & Market Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives across our capital markets ecosystem, including exchange operations, clearing, settlement, and custody functions. The role requires strong experience in regulated financial environments, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects involving technology, operations, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across trading, clearing, settlement, and custody functions
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication
• Drive implementation of new products, platform enhancements, and regulatory initiatives
• Coordinate with technology, operations, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment
• Ensure projects adhere to regulatory, legal, and governance requirements
• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and operational impacts
• Support process optimization, automation, and transformation initiatives
• Prepare and present updates to senior management and key stakeholders
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships where applicable

Key Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in project/program management within financial services
• Strong understanding of capital markets, securities exchange, clearing & settlement processes
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., exchanges, brokerages, custodians, fintech)
• Familiarity with post-trade lifecycle, trade processing, and market infrastructure
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional and complex projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in exchange platforms or clearing houses
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification (preferred)
