Project Manager - Cloud Infrastructure (Azure & Microsoft 365)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly technical and hands-on Project Manager with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft 365. This role requires strong ownership across both delivery and technical architecture, including cloud networking, landing zones, security, sizing, BoQ, and enterprise assessments. The ideal candidate will lead cloud transformation programs while actively contributing to solution design, technical validation, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end delivery of Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 programs across enterprise and government clients • Act as a hands-on technical leader for Azure infrastructure including networking, identity, security, and governance • Design and implement Azure landing zones aligned with enterprise-scale architecture and best practices • Define cloud architecture covering subscriptions, resource groups, policies, identity, and access management • Plan and execute cloud migration and modernization programs from on-premise to Azure and hybrid environments • Perform detailed infrastructure assessments including current state analysis, gap assessment, and target architecture definition • Develop sizing models, cost estimations, and detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for cloud deployments • Lead Azure networking design including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity • Drive security architecture including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Zero Trust, identity protection, and compliance frameworks • Oversee implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, and Entra ID • Work closely with engineering teams on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and performance optimization • Lead governance frameworks including policies, RBAC, cost management, and monitoring • Provide technical guidance during pre-sales, solutioning, and client workshops • Conduct client training sessions, knowledge transfer, and documentation for operations teams • Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication with strong governance

Required Skills and Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments • Deep expertise in Azure networking including VNet design, hybrid connectivity, routing, and security controls • Experience designing and implementing Azure landing zones and enterprise-scale architecture • Strong understanding of cloud security including identity, access management, threat protection, and compliance • Experience with infrastructure sizing, performance planning, and cost optimization • Hands-on experience preparing BoQ, proposals, and technical solution documents • Experience conducting cloud readiness assessments and migration planning • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, and Entra ID • Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights • Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning • Experience working with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code is a plus

Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Security Engineer Associate • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification • Experience working with government, regulated industries, or large enterprise environments • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or regional regulatory frameworks • Experience with Azure cost management and FinOps practices
