Responsibilities

Within Socotec Technical Consulting, the missions are as follows:

• The Industrial Process Consultant works with industrial clients to support them in their risk reduction efforts (for assets and people) and in optimizing their performance (e.g., availability, productivity, maintainability, OPEX/CAPEX optimization).
• The recommendations made by the consultant are based on (i) an audit of installations and organizations carried out at client sites throughout France, (ii) cross-referencing with public and client data, and (iii) the expertise of the consultant and SOCOTEC experts.
• They are an expert in mechanics and automation with regulatory and normative knowledge.
• They work in project mode, under the responsibility of a Project Manager, and can themselves lead projects.
• The consultant is also expected to play a role in business development: i.e., build commercial approaches/proposals with the Sales Director and/or Senior Project Managers, support offers in front of the client, and be proactive in ideas for reselling or development.
• Ease of oral and written communication is necessary to meet the rigor and precision requirements of our clients (e.g., synthesis skills, absence of spelling errors, ...).
• Mastery of English is imperative.
• Finally, due to interventions in industrial environments at our clients' sites, the consultant must be rigorous and exemplary in Quality/Health/Safety/Environment matters: i.e., respect the safety rules and the internal QHSE policy of the Group and clients, identify risks and use/wear appropriate PPE, participate in internal quality/safety audits, and ensure information is reported in case of malfunctions.

Salary and Benefits

You benefit from a fixed salary (€45,000 - €55,000) depending on your profile with the following benefits:

Profile Sought

• Graduated from an engineering school (Bac+5) or with experience in an industrial environment or consulting for industrial companies.
• Qualities to thrive in this role and successfully accomplish technical consulting missions:
  • Teamwork, good communication, listening skills;
  • Technical experience in industry
  • Autonomous, involved, organized, and rigorous;
  • Analytical skills and innovation in solutions for technical problems
  • Synthesis skills and ease in oral and written communication
