Project Manager Role

As a Project Manager, you lead the project team, plan, and ensure project success. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you oversee site supervisors, crews, and project administrators, and collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, forecasting work, coordinating resources, leading strategy and goals, managing expectations, driving performance, troubleshooting, capturing opportunities, managing and estimating change, and dedicating approximately 25% of your time to estimating.

You must be eligible to work in Canada, hold a valid driver's license, and have experience in our lines of work. We welcome different experience levels and assign projects accordingly.

Projects are primarily in the Golden Horseshoe with a focus on the GTA. Our head office is in Stouffville, Ontario. We value service, collaboration, quality solutions, and safety. We maintain our COR designation and focus on challenging, multi-disciplinary projects.

The Details

This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting salary between $70,000 and $115,000 based on ability and experience. Benefits include annual bonuses, flexible benefits, group RSP after 1 year, company vehicle or allowance, company cell phone or allowance, 3 weeks vacation, 5 days paid emergency leave, 1 personal day, annual fitness credit, and a hybrid work schedule allowing 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record

  • Experience estimating full construction projects

  • Experience in 2 or more fields: utilities, infrastructure, environmental, civil, earthworks, landscape construction
  • Proven budget management
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, takeoffs, survey, layout
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editors
