About the role

Job Summary

Responsible for cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, and cost forecasting, including monthly projections. Managing project hours and coordinating with job superintendents or foremen when adjustments are needed. Interacting with general contractors and subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training.
  • Four years of construction management, estimating, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the electrical construction industry.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules and safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage project hours and coordinate with job superintendents or foremen when adjustments are needed.
  • Perform cost estimating, progress budgeting, and change order pricing, including forecasting.
  • Conduct day‑to‑day interaction with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Assume responsibility for all job‑related costs, including procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Complete WIP reports in a timely manner.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage materials, negotiate pricing, process invoices, and track shipment and delivery.
  • Process and obtain approvals for change orders and RFIs.
  • Monitor all job‑related costs of labor, rental equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Handle billing for projects and follow up on receivables.
  • Ensure timely project closeout and collection of final payments.
  • Perform additional assignments as requested.

Other Requirements

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
