About the role

Project Manager – Custom Millwork
Atelier Notre‑Dame – Greenfield Park, QC (Longueuil, Montérégie)

About Us

Atelier Notre‑Dame is a boutique studio that blends design, architecture, and fine woodworking to create one‑of‑a‑kind custom millwork. Our clients range from private homeowners to high‑end commercial developers, and every project is a partnership built on craftsmanship, creativity, and precision.

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager who can act as the conductor of our multidisciplinary team—guiding clients, designers, cabinetmakers, and installers from concept to flawless installation.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities What Success Looks Like
Client liaison – welcome new clients, clarify needs, keep them informed throughout the process. Clients feel heard, confident, and delighted with the progress and final result.
Project planning & scheduling – develop realistic timelines, allocate resources, and maintain master project files. Projects launch on time, stay on budget, and meet every milestone.
Cross‑functional coordination – work hand‑in‑hand with designers, cabinetmakers, and installers to translate design intent into buildable solutions. Seamless hand‑offs between design, workshop, and site; zero re‑work.
On‑site & workshop monitoring – conduct regular site visits, track workshop progress, and resolve bottlenecks quickly. Real‑time visibility of status, early detection of issues, and swift corrective actions.
Process improvement – identify inefficiencies, propose workflow enhancements, and help implement best‑practice tools. Continuous reduction in lead times and cost while raising quality standards.
Documentation & communication – synthesize client, designer, and architect requests into clear, actionable briefs; maintain accurate records in our project management system. All stakeholders have a single source of truth; decisions are documented and traceable.

Excellent written and verbal communication; fluency in French and English. Knowledge of wood species, finishes, hardware, and fabrication methods.
