Job Description

AECOM are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Urbanism + Planning team in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee pre-contract activities and operational project management, ensuring seamless execution from initial planning through contract finalization and beyond. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-contract activities including project scoping, feasibility analysis, and vendor evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, contracts, and operational procedures
  • Conduct contract negotiations and reviews to protect organizational interests while maintaining positive vendor relationships
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks throughout the pre-contract and operational phases
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure clear communication of project expectations
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery and cost control
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key metrics, risks, and recommendations to senior management
  • Manage project documentation systems and maintain organized records for audit and reference purposes
  • Facilitate onboarding of new projects and transition from pre-contract to operational phases
  • Analyze project performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated expertise in pre-contract management and operations
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions
  • Bachelors in either Architecture, Landscape or a related subject.
