We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who thrives on challenges, collaboration, and innovation. Working on major institutional, commercial and healthcare projects, you’ll help shape spaces that make a real impact alongside experts who value curiosity, teamwork, and technical excellence.
Led by April Waddell, P. Eng., Project Director - Electrical, a seasoned leader with 18 years of technical expertise, known for her approachable leadership and technical depth, you’ll be joining a tight-knit team that values mutual support, open communication, and the satisfaction of seeing designs come to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and oversee building electrical projects ranging from small, medium, large, to very large scale, depending on experience
- Act as project manager and discipline lead from planning through delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
- Ensure follow up on schedules, budgets, and professional fees
- Prepare specifications, technical reports, and service proposals
- Participate in expertise and studies during the pre project phase
- Support construction oversight and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Member of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
- Four or more years of relevant experience in building electrical engineering
- Experience in project coordination or management
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Office 365 suite
- Autonomous, organized, team-oriented, and client-focused

Salary range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of the role and geographic location.
