Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical construction projects valued up to $30 million. This leadership role is responsible for project estimation, budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and the direct supervision of Assistant Project Managers and field Foremen. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale electrical construction projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Identify bid opportunities and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Develop project schedules in coordination with general contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Supervise Assistant Project Managers and Foremen, providing guidance and training.
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards.
• Develop and manage labor and material budgets.
• Prepare, negotiate, and process change orders.
• Monitor project progress, maintain required logs, and prepare monthly work-in-progress reports.
• Manage purchasing, material buyouts, billing, equipment rentals, and contract financials.
• Attend project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and owners.
• Implement corrective actions to address project issues and ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with a strong track record of success.
• Estimating experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Bluebeam, and Accubid.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to build client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
