About the Role

The digitalization of the energy transition is not just on our doorstep; we are in the midst of it and need YOUR support to make this challenge a success. With our Metering and Meter Services team, we bring intelligence to our power grid and are responsible for the installation and operation of intelligent measuring technology for our customers. Technology, processes, and IT are not just our tasks at MITNETZ – we live them daily. In an interdepartmental smartification project, we need your support to advance the digitalization of our power grid.

Your Tasks

• You act as a central interface between different specialist areas, using your technical understanding to shape coordination efficiently and solution-orientedly.
• In customer service, you independently take on special topics such as market communication, maintain an overview even in complex contexts, and actively drive process optimizations.
• You proactively inform yourself about current developments, prepare relevant information for your team, and then work independently on your tasks.
• You actively participate in projects for the introduction of new IT systems, consider new network control processes, and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., EnWG, EEG).

Your Profile

• You have a completed commercial or technical degree.
• You ideally have sound professional experience in the field of energy supply, metering, or meter services.
• You have knowledge in conducting market observations and analyzing trends and market developments.
• You combine technical know-how with a good understanding of process flows and a strong interest in IT and digitalization topics.
• You are proficient with common IT applications and are willing to learn new systems.
• You work responsibly, structurally, and independently.
• You communicate clearly and purposefully – both within the team and with external partners.
• You are open to new technologies and willing to continuously develop yourself.
