Project Manager Engineering (w/m/d), Werk Fehring

In this role, you will report directly to the Manager Engineering and functionally to our site management. You bring experience and know-how in managing product, process, and machine development projects and will support projects in the plants or business units.

Your Responsibilities

• Project management: Leading and executing assigned projects and tasks, ensuring adherence to the defined scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, conducting risk assessments, and developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Developing and implementing strategic process and technology developments based on plant requirements and the technology roadmap.
• Ongoing market screening for current trends and new concepts.
• Equipment development with a focus on capabilities, reliability, and precision.
• Cost savings and efficiency improvement potential.
• Collaboration, ongoing communication, and coordination with internal interfaces, with existing and new suppliers, and cross-site alignments.

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni etc.) in the field of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Several years of experience as a Project Manager (focus on production machinery, automation, and process development) in an international environment is desirable.
• Good knowledge of process analysis and process management.
• Sound knowledge in project management (methods, communication, reporting etc.), project management certifications are desirable, as well as solid basic business administration knowledge.
• Strong expertise in lifecycle management, risk, and resource management combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel.
