About the role
PCM Services is seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager/Estimator to support our growing commercial electrical services division. This hybrid role involves estimating, managing, and delivering small to mid-sized electrical projects—including LED lighting upgrades, electrical system upgrades, infrared (IR) scans, EV charger installations, and other service-level electrical projects—for commercial clients, project managers, and engineers throughout Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
Overview
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with excellent client communication and project coordination skills. You will collaborate with sales, field teams, and customers to ensure accurate estimates, successful project execution, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits, gather project scope details, and meet with clients, project managers, and engineers to define requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, and field conditions to prepare accurate estimates for electrical service projects.
- Develop proposals including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor pricing, and timeline assumptions.
- Manage awarded projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate scheduling with field crews, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Perform cost tracking, change order documentation, and project reporting.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, confirm expectations, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including photos, measurements, IR scan reports, utility rebate documentation, and closeout packages.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying estimating and process efficiencies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and electrical industry experience.
- 3+ years of electrical estimating, project management, or commercial service experience.
- Experience with LED upgrades, service-level electrical work, or EV infrastructure (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

- Strong electrical knowledge related to commercial service work.
