About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a complex federal Areawide portfolio under a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) program. This role will focus on delivering energy-saving construction initiatives for a federal customer, requiring strong coordination across internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will excel in managing multi-phase projects, proactively identifying risks, and communicating effectively with leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects within a federal utility program
- Coordinate across internal teams, federal customers, ESCO partners, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely execution
- Identify risks early (approvals, access, dependencies) and escalate with solutions
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items
- Facilitate meetings and ensure clear ownership across all stakeholders
- Provide concise, executive-level status reporting and updates
- Ensure smooth handoffs between project phases and teams

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong project scheduling, issue tracking, and risk management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and customers
- Experience coordinating across internal teams and external partners (contractors, vendors, agencies)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal or utility/infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with federal compliance platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, Treasury IPP)
- Experience with construction project management tools (e.g., Procore)
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
