Responsibilities
- Ensuring practical, robust, and efficient accounting processes in SAP and SAP-connected systems as Business Process Owner
- Continuously identifying optimization potential and coordinating and implementing process optimizations with a strong hands-on mentality
- Developing new accounting processes and optimizing existing processes based on needs and priorities in close collaboration with SAP consultants
- Gaining supporters for concepts and convincing stakeholders
- Close coordination of projects with operational units and adjacent departments, especially Controlling, Treasury, and Procurement
- Driving the digitalization, automation, and standardization of financial processes
- Updating and transferring existing documentation into end-to-end process documentation
- Creating training materials and conducting regular training on FI processes in German and English
- Developing and implementing concepts for the definition, cleanup, and harmonization of FI master data and associated documentation
- Supporting SAP roll-outs and upgrades
Profile
- Completed degree in business administration, commercial apprenticeship with further training, or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience and very sound knowledge of SAP FI in a manufacturing, preferably regulated, environment
- Good knowledge of interfaces to SAP modules CO, MM, and SD
- Enthusiasm for digitalization, automation, and process optimization
- Strong communication skills and ability to build networks and convince stakeholders
- Structured approach to ensuring on-time implementation
- High identification with processes to ensure efficiency and practicality
- Fluent German and English skills
We work in a hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site in our Starnberg office and the possibility to work 2 days from home.
