JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the successful planning and execution of various client initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will lead projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include resource management, risk mitigation, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Create comprehensive project plans including schedules, resource allocations, and budget management while proactively identifying potential project challenges.
- Scope Management: Clearly define project scope and ensure deliverables align with business objectives. Efficiently manage any changes to the project scope.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources to optimize performance and meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Maintain a detailed RAID log.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on project status, ensuring meticulous documentation of all project plans, minutes, artifacts, and approvals.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment for optimal results.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality control measures that meet project standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business or a related field, or relevant experience as determined by the company.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 3 years of project management experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
PREFERRED
- Experience in healthcare or health insurance project management.
- Familiarity with various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
25% - 50%
This position is office-based but will require occasional travel to various sites.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds.
PAY RANGE
Minimum: $72,700.00
Maximum: $116,600.00
