About the role
Project Manager (gn)
With your professional open manner, you succeed in communicating across departments and interacting within the network of customers, partners, and suppliers. You will take on the following tasks:
Responsibilities
- Successful leadership and execution of international customer projects in the fields of Aero, Automotive, IGT (Industrial Gas Turbine), and Medical
- Overall responsibility for achieving project goals regarding quality, costs, and deadlines
- Functioning as a competent and customer-oriented point of contact for all customer concerns regarding project execution from order receipt to handover to the service organization and support of technicians (gn) during installation and acceptance
- Support of System Sales with technical consulting, system concepts, and review of calculations and quotations in cooperation with specialist departments
- Coordination of internal resources and suppliers/third-party providers for the smooth execution of international customer projects
- Leadership of evaluations of new components for customer projects with specialist departments
- Writing regular status reports to department heads (gn) / controlling and immediate forwarding of information in case of special events within the business unit or towards the customer
- Monitoring project progress using SAP (ERP system) and creating provisions (forecasts) for ongoing projects
- Creation of a detailed project schedule to monitor progress and budget
- Evaluation of project results using appropriate tools and techniques
- Risk management to minimize project risks and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation
Your Profile
- Completed university education (Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Energy Technology), TS / FH Mechanical Engineering level
- Sound experience in managing international projects as a Project Manager (gn)
- Further business administration education is an advantage
- Specialist qualification IPMA Level C
- Experience in planning, organizational, and commercial matters
- Very good German and English (written and spoken), French is an advantage
