About the role

As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.

You are agile and eager to adapt to different work environments that will fuel your curiosity of seeing what’s behind closed doors of the biggest projects of our client’s portfolio.

Tasks

  • Lead and coordinate projects related to the development and installation of high- & mid-voltage substations and switchgear systems.
  • Oversee all project phases, from planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and relevant industry norms.
  • Manage project risks and implement Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams consisting of engineers and technical specialists.
  • Prepare, present, and report project progress to steering committees and management stakeholders.
  • Prepare project review documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in international projects when required, collaborating with global teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • +5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in high-voltage technology or power transmission and distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of high- & mid-voltage substations and switchgear systems, ideally in the 110 kV range and above.
  • Sound understanding of applicable standards, regulations, and safety requirements in high-voltage engineering.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
  • Project management certification is considered a plus.
