This Project Manager role delivers complex historic restoration and high‑end interior projects across Washington, DC and the surrounding Beltway. You'll manage multiple fast‑paced projects while partnering closely with leadership in a highly collaborative, in‑office environment.

Responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executing historic and interior construction projects
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
- Overseeing buyouts, contracts, change orders, and cost controls
- Coordinating superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
- Collaborating with architects, preservation consultants, agencies, and owners
- Interpreting historic drawings, surveys, archival documents, and assessments
- Navigating historic approvals, agency reviews, and regulatory processes
- Leading quality control, mock‑ups, test panels, and inspections
- Ensuring compliance with approved preservation methods and materials
- Managing occupied, phased, and sensitive project sites
- Maintaining safety, protection of historic fabric, and public interfaces
- Driving schedules and budgets in complex, detail‑driven environments
- Delivering polished, high‑end interior finishes with precision and care
Qualifications
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 7-10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- 3-5+ years in historic restoration, preservation, or rehabilitation projects
- Experience delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Ability to manage 2-3 concurrent projects at different phases
- Background in historic urban markets strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of masonry, façades, roofing, and building envelope
- Experience coordinating complex trades and specialty restoration scopes
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
