Position Overview
The Project Manager II or Senior Project Manager leads moderately complex to complex electric utility projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, safety, and stakeholder engagement. This role operates with increasing independence based on level.

- Small Generation Interconnections
- Distribution/Energy Delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle project management activities
- Own scope, schedule, and budget performance
- Provide executive and stakeholder reporting
- Drive regulatory and safety compliance
- Resolve cross‑functional conflicts and project risks
- Manage multiple concurrent projects
- Perform forecasting and variance analysis
- Travel to project sites up to 50%
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- PM II: 5–7 years project management experience
- Senior PM: 7–10+ years project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Utility or underground utility experience
- Environmental permitting experience
- Primavera P6, SAP, Microsoft Project
- Power BI familiarity
Compensation
Anticipated Base Salary Range: $102,000 – $120,500 annually
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions.
