Project Manager Industrial Engineering

Your Responsibilities

• Project management and active participation in investment and optimization projects in an international environment using the Simultaneous Engineering approach
• Development, design, and optimization of industrialization concepts and manufacturing process chains, including associated cost calculations
• Cross-departmental collaboration with Process Engineering, Program Management, R&D, and Purchasing to develop efficient, process-reliable, and economical production solutions
• Support in the implementation of Design for Manufacturing (DfM)
• Design of innovative plant layouts and optimization of material flows and value streams to ensure efficient production processes
• Evaluation and selection of suitable suppliers for industrialization
• Creation of specifications together with Process Engineering for the procurement of production facilities
• Development, analysis, and continuous optimization of product and production costs
• Participation in the setup of the PMO with a coordination function
• Liaison between Program Management, R&D, and Industrial Engineering; PM support

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable
• Business administration further education is an advantage
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering and cost calculation
• Sound knowledge in the design and optimization of industrialization concepts
• Experience with economic analyses of alternative manufacturing concepts
• Project management experience, ideally in the automotive sector
• Experience in the automotive supplier industry and knowledge of standard IATF 16949 are an advantage
• Experience with international teams
• Analytical skills, structured and proactive working method
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) and driver's license category B
• Proactive personality with initiative to support in a dynamic environment
