Project Manager – Institutional Construction

We are currently partnering with a well-established and reputable general contractor to find an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in institutional construction.

In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead institutional construction projects from planning through close-out
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and performance
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to senior management
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Identify risks and implement proactive solutions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction
• Proven experience delivering institutional projects (schools, healthcare, government, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management principles
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Proficiency with project management software
