Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Platform Projects

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing medium to complex IT infrastructure and platform projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, quality, and operational requirements. The role supports multiple teams and maintains transparent communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and execute sub-projects within the overall IT infrastructure program.
• Maintain project documentation in MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira.
• Conduct project controlling for timelines, milestones, requirements, deliverables, and budget adherence.
• Manage dependencies, changes, configurations, and project risks.
• Perform stakeholder management, including handling goal and interest conflicts.
• Facilitate project governance, communication, and reporting.
• Conduct administrative tasks such as scheduling, quality assurance, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining lists.
• Prepare project guidelines and provide support on special topics as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, IT-related studies, or recognized IT vocational training; alternatively, at least 6 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years in IT project management of medium to large projects; experience with classical and agile methods.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Jira, and MS Project.
• Certifications such as IPMA Level C, PMI PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum (PSM/PSPO), or equivalent.
• German language proficiency at C1 level and English at B1 level.
• Strong teamwork, communication, initiative, decision-making, structured and solution-oriented working style.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to operate in structured, compliance-driven environments.
