Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ship repair projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage the project budget: plan, monitor expenses, control costs, and ensure the project is delivered profitably.
- Ensure efficient resource planning and allocation, optimizing costs and time.
- Contribute to proposal preparation, cost estimation, and negotiations with clients and partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth execution and effective communication.
- Monitor project progress, results, and risks, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal requirements.
- Initiate process improvement ideas and apply insights for future enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience in managing engineering, construction, or other technical projects (e.g., ship repair, construction, or manufacturing projects).
- Solid understanding of project execution processes, technical standards, and applicable regulations (experience in ship repair or the construction sector is an advantage).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (an advantage).
- Higher education degree.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (Russian is an advantage).
- Category B driver’s license.
