We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Mechanical Construction) to join our large-project MCaP division.

The Role
The Project Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects—from preconstruction through closeout. This role drives safety, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction while leading cross-functional teams and building long-term client relationships.
Accountabilities:
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead all phases of project delivery (planning, execution, closeout)
- Ensure scope alignment, constructability, and contract compliance
- Oversee coordination with design teams and other trades
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture
- Enforce company and client safety standards
- Ensure site-specific safety plans and weekly documentation
Cost & Change Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Oversee change order development, pricing, and approval
- Partner with accounting on billing and financial tracking
Scheduling & Productivity
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Monitor labor productivity, material costs, and performance metrics
- Coordinate staffing and subcontractor activities
Prefabrication & Innovation
- Identify and implement prefabrication opportunities
- Coordinate fabrication workflows and field integration
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Lead project communication and issue resolution
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
Risk Management
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop contingency plans to protect schedule and budget
Qualifications:
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methods and systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to interpret construction documents across multiple disciplines
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing union labor environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
Education and Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects
- Proven success delivering complex projects (healthcare, labs, higher ed, industrial, R&D)
- Experience with Lean Construction and/or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) preferred
Physical Requirements
- Physical activity not limited to climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting
