About the Role

Do you want to lead complex maritime projects where technology, planning, and quality come together perfectly?

At Ship Motion Design, you will work on advanced propulsion systems for luxury yachts and high-quality maritime applications. Not standard projects, but technically challenging custom work where quality and precision are decisive.

As a Project Manager, you play a key role in this.

Your Impact

As a Newbuild Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful realization of multiple projects simultaneously.

You will manage engineering, procurement, production, and assembly to ensure seamless integration. You will monitor planning, budget, and quality and will be the central point of contact for both internal teams and clients.

You will work daily with engineers, procurement, and production in a technically driven environment with short lines of communication.

What will you do specifically?

• Lead multiple technical projects
• Prepare and monitor schedules, budget, and scope
• Manage and connect multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor progress, costs, and risks
• Adjust for deviations and bottlenecks
• Manage client expectations
• Responsible for the financial result of projects
• Continuously improve processes and working methods

• and clients are satisfied with the collaboration and results

What you bring

• Bachelor's work and thinking level
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a technical environment
• Strong communication skills
• Decisiveness and solution-oriented approach
• Structured working method and stress resistance
• Ownership and sense of responsibility
• Good command of Dutch and English

Preferred:

• Technical insight
• Commercial insight

What you get

• Salary: max. €6,500 gross per month
• 35 vacation days
• 8% holiday pay
• Travel allowance (€0.23/km)
• Pension scheme (50% employer contribution)
