RST Development is seeking motivated Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to join our growing in-house construction team. As a family‑owned company that acts as the owner, developer, and builder, our team is involved in every phase of the project lifecycle—from early planning and budgeting through construction and delivery. Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day administration of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist in the procurement process including bid solicitation, scope review, subcontract preparation, and purchase orders.
- Track and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and contract logs.
- Maintain and update project budgets, change order logs, and cost tracking reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal team members to ensure timely project execution.
- Assist in preparing and distributing weekly project updates including schedule status, procurement tracking, and key issues.
- Review subcontractor invoices and assist with pay application processing and lien waiver collection.
- Participate in project meetings and assist in documenting action items and follow‑ups.
- Help monitor construction schedules and track progress against milestones.
- Support project closeout activities including punch list tracking, warranty documentation, and turnover materials.
Requirements
- 1‑3 years industry experience required. Multifamily construction experience preferred.
- Previous real estate and/or construction experience, a plus.
Project Manager

- Lead day‑to‑day management of construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost reports, and change order logs to ensure projects remain on budget.
- Manage procurement of subcontractors including bid review, scope alignment, contract negotiation, and award.
- Oversee project schedules and sequencing to ensure timely delivery of major construction milestones.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other contract documentation to maintain project clarity and control.
- Coordinate with development, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and field issues.
- Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and ensure accurate monthly cost reporting.
- Lead regular project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks related to cost, schedule, constructability, and subcontractor performance.
- Oversee project closeout including punch list completion, final inspections, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience. Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
- Previous real estate and/or construction experience, a plus.
Compensation
- Annual Salary is commensurate with current skillset and experience.
