About
As a Project Manager, you are the driving force behind the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in complex, large-scale projects. Our projects include production facilities for banknotes, coins, security documents, and passports, as well as complete intralogistics and automation systems. You are responsible for the MES production software – a system that controls and monitors production processes in real-time and serves as the interface between Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and shop floor control. You will be responsible for the planning, solution design, and implementation of the MES, including the go-live phase.
Responsibilities
- Planning, coordination, and monitoring of all MES project phases - from detailed engineering and manufacturing, through shipping, installation, integration, and commissioning, to final acceptance - while adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Clarification of orders with suppliers of system components, including the definition of functional, technical, and commercial content.
- Definition of work packages and prioritization of tasks based on responsibilities, urgency, and project requirements.
- Development and management of implementation and commissioning concepts, including the coordination of on-site teams.
- Presentation of project results to customers and internal management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification is desirable.
- Proven experience in managing production software projects, including clarifying customer requirements, solution development, and go-live.
- At least 5 years of experience in projects within the cash industry (cash centers, printing plants, mints, automated intralogistics), including leading international teams.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, and French language skills are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills as well as pronounced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
