What to expect
- You develop new couvertures and optimize existing recipes with small conches and tempering machines
- You research and evaluate raw materials in depth and carry out systematic quality controls, laboratory work, storage tests, and tastings
- You lead and accompany projects and implement the development program qualitatively and quantitatively, including daily and sequence planning
- You support production technologically in the area of couvertures and ensure compliance with quality specifications, hygiene, HACCP, and safety guidelines
- You optimize processes, plant performance, and capacity utilization, taking seasonal fluctuations into account, and use personnel and machine resources efficiently
- You take co-responsibility for operational service delivery and sustainable productivity in the area of couvertures according to target specifications
- You create and maintain documentation, carry out patent applications, and actively participate in the sensory team
- You take on consulting, training, and moderation tasks related to the specialist topic of chocolate
What you bring
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the chocolate industry and in the efficient and timely execution of development projects
- You possess in-depth technical expertise in supporting quality optimizations and in carrying out strict quality controls
- You have demonstrable experience in implementing targeted measures to reduce scrap rates
- You have analytical competence in measuring and communicating process key figures and initiate effective corrective measures in case of target deviations
- You excel in continuous process improvement and have a strong hands-on mentality
- You continuously expand your technical expertise by participating in external training and expert lectures
