About the role
Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA migration project for the organization. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery, timelines, and business readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans
- Manage timelines, milestones, and dependencies
- Coordinate across phases: Prepare & Explore, Realize, Deploy
- Conduct governance and steering committee meetings
Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary liaison between internal teams and external partners
- Coordinate with business process owners
- Manage executive communication and reporting
- Drive user engagement and change management
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Maintain risk and issue registers
- Handle escalation and resolution processes
- Plan contingency strategies
Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Coordinate testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Manage change requests and scope changes
- Oversee documentation and knowledge transfer
Business Readiness & Change Management
- Drive organizational change initiatives
- Coordinate training and user readiness
- Manage cutover and go-live activities
- Support post-implementation transition
Project Control & Governance
- Track project schedule, budget, and progress
- Prepare reports and dashboards
- Support decision-making with analysis and business cases
Coordination & Resource Management
- Manage internal teams and third-party vendors
- Ensure resource availability
- Handle dependencies and infrastructure readiness
Key Deliverables
- Project plan, governance framework
- Risk & communication plans
- Weekly status reports
- UAT coordination & training plans
- Cutover & go-live support
- Post-implementation review and closure documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP project management experience
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects
- Experience with RISE with SAP implementations
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Fluent in English
Preferred
- Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP
- Experience in large ERP transformation programs
- Knowledge of SAP modules like:
- FI/CO
- MM
- HCM
- Treasury
- BI
