Your Daily Life

The Gennevilliers Campus is at the heart of the design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

Within Thales's Secure Information and Communication Systems business, the Mobile Networks (MNW) sector provides tactical and deployable communication systems (mobile and Satcom) for armed forces. The ENP department, covering the Europe and NATO activities of the sector, is responsible for managing a wide range of projects and responding to numerous calls for tenders from institutional clients (NATO, EU) and European defense ministries.

In a context of strong growth in these markets, and with the aim of significantly strengthening Thales's presence and establishing leadership positions with our strategic clients, the department's main mission is to formulate competitive and differentiating offers, and to manage the operational implementation of won projects (delivery performance).

Your Missions

Leveraging your experience in offer/project management, you will be the project manager responsible for the execution of a project within the Satcom division.

As such, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and leading the multidisciplinary project team; ensuring stakeholder commitments are met while controlling risks and opportunities.
• Managing client relationships
• Ensuring deadlines and financial objectives are met throughout the project duration
• Ensuring the quality of project deliverables and client satisfaction
• Managing legal and contractual obligations and handling disputes
• Reporting on the project internally and ensuring the application of current internal rules and processes

Furthermore, depending on the department's needs and your skill development, you may take responsibility for a second project and/or manage offer preparation and/or support another project manager as an assistant project manager.

Your Profile

• As an engineer by training or equivalent, you have a solid technical foundation enabling you to grasp the technical challenges of the subjects you will handle.
• You have at least 4 years of experience in technical execution, offer preparation, and/or project management roles within an industrial context.
• You demonstrate rigor and analytical skills.
• You have synthesis skills and a good overall vision.
• You can adapt and broaden your skills to related fields.
• You possess interpersonal and communication skills: leadership, listening, understanding situations and stakeholder expectations, assertive posture.
• You demonstrate agility in your work, adapting to the dynamics of Capture phases.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are open to occasional travel in Europe.
