Project Manager Solar

**Areas of Responsibility**: The Project Manager ensures the development and monitoring of solar projects at various stages of development, from the identification of sites to the obtaining of authorizations purged of all recourse, in Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. It mainly consists in:

- Prospect and identify new solar projects:

- Analyze the technical and environmental constraints of the project - Study the topography of the terrain and the energy production potential of the site - Identify the needs and detect the expectations of local communities - Assess either the strengths or the main risks and challenges - Define a development budget - Define and update Business Plan of the project - Support the dedicated team on the signing of contracts for the land management - Evaluate the technical and financial constraints related to the connection to the electricity network and make an initial estimate of the costs and deadlines for implementing the project - Present the project to the management of the company for a launch decision - Pilot and coordinate the external studies necessary for the development of the projects - Ensure relations and consultation with the various project stakeholders. Be able to negotiate with those stakeholders towards a commonly accepted project - Submit requests for administrative authorizations and follow up on their instruction with the State services - Develop response files to government solar tenders - Identify events in the territory that may have an impact on project development - Follow the progress of the different phases until obtaining the authorizations and ensure the transfer of the projects to the construction team - Develop and animate a network of business contributors in a specific region

In all phases the project manager is responsible for the corresponding budget. **Studies**: Master’s degree engineering or business school. **Work Experience**:

- 2-3 years in wind or solar project development - 2-3 years in a real estate company

**Languages**:

- French: fluently - English: level B2 (Italian would be an upside)

**IT Skills**:

- Excellent Microsoft office skills - ERP knowledge such as SAP - ARC GIS/Qgis/PVsyst - Project management tools

**Know-How & Managerial Skills**:

- Excellent understanding of environment sector and renewables - Excellent skills for land negociation - Knowledge of land contracts - Project’s business plan and budget - Strong field-oriented focus - Regulatory context - Identify sites for new solar plants - Goal-oriented and self-dependent working as well as good analytical thinking - Demonstrable successful experience in project development - Capacity for teamwork, high commitment, preciseness - Oral fluency - Personal motivation for renewable energies
