About the role
Your New Challenges:
We are looking for a Project Manager Supply Chain for our Schindler main location in Ebikon, starting immediately. In this responsible role, you will strengthen the supply chain of Schindler Elevators Ltd. (Schindler Switzerland) and work in an environment of high relevance for our service business. We manage one of the largest spare parts warehouses in Europe, thereby ensuring the availability of elevators and escalators for our customers.
Tasks:
- You lead and support diverse, demanding optimization projects, including stakeholder management and accompanying the implementation of solutions.
- You analyze data and create reports to identify optimization potential based on key figures.
- You work closely with customers, clarify requirements, ensure customer satisfaction, and initiate appropriate measures in case of escalations.
- You share responsibility for the implementation of the SCM Switzerland strategy.
- You drive the continuous improvement of processes and expand services in SCM Switzerland.
- You promote process optimizations and efficiency increases by establishing and living a culture of continuous improvement within the team and department.
- You ensure that the rules for quality, environment, and safety are known and adhered to in your area of responsibility.
Your Ideal Prerequisites:
- Completed degree or higher professional examinations in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification.
- First professional experience (1 to 2 years) in the supply chain environment, warehouse disposition, or production planning etc.
- Proactive mindset and 'can-do' mentality: systematic and independent approach to problem-solving and the ability to turn ideas into action.
- First experience in leading projects, Lean Six Sigma experience is an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office and initial ERP experience.
- Fluent German spoken and written, as well as good English skills.
