About the role
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation of construction projects by completing tasks including but not limited to:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Scheduling
- Preparation of progress certificates and other invoices
- Budgeting
- Material Ordering and check and review materials (includes organizing and checking packing slips)
- Material submissions for approval and sign off
- Purchase Orders, including detailed take offs
- Request for Information (RFIs)
- Estimating
- Frequent site visits to monitor and manage Site Supervisors/ General Supervisors
- Frequent communication with Site Supervisors, General Supervisors and formen on direction and information
- Manage/Correspond with subcontractors regarding pricing scheduling and invoicing (including change order approvals)
- Review of contracts prior to signing
- General correspondence with other parties such as clients, consultants and inspectors
- Help with healthy and safety obligations, including but not limited to daily logs, machine check lists and safety checks
- Assist with filing and general office organization
- Promoting excellent working relationships with all co-workers to maintain an excellent working environment and culture
