Our client is a leading international industrial organization, based in French‑speaking Switzerland, operating in a highly regulated environment.
Role Overview
Reporting to a senior member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for driving facilities and utilities projects while ensuring alignment with long‑term site strategy.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating a portfolio of facilities and utilities projects (CAPEX), ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards
- Managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously, including critical shutdown activities and infrastructure upgrades
- Acting as program lead, defining project roadmaps, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Managing a team of technical experts and external partners, ensuring efficient collaboration and performance
- Driving cross‑functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D to ensure smooth project execution and operational impact
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards (GMP, ISO, etc.), Monitoring project budgets, KPIs, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders
- You will lead a small team of engineers and technicians and coordinate external consultants during key project phases. This role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to build trust across departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management
- Proven experience managing facilities and utilities projects in a production environment
- Track record of leading cross‑functional teams and managing external suppliers
- Knowledge of risk management methodologies ( HAZOP, SIL)
- Experience in validation, documentation, and quality‑driven environments
- Solid project management capabilities in complex, international environments
- Fluent English and French required
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical timelines
