We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with PMP certification and strong hands-on experience in IBM Db2 environments. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end project delivery, and coordinate database-related initiatives involving Db2 systems. The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management, planning, risk management, and technical coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, DBA, and business teams.
• Drive projects related to IBM Db2 database migration, upgrade, optimization, and support.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and provide regular project updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and organizational standards.
• Identify project risks/issues and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support resource allocation, vendor coordination, and change management activities.
• Work closely with Db2 DBAs and application teams for performance tuning and database-related deployments.

Required Skills

• PMP Certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of IBM Db2 databases.
• Experience managing database migration or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project tracking tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in Banking, Insurance, Telecom, or Enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and database modernization projects is a plus.
• ITIL or Scrum certification is an added advantage.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of SQL performance tuning and database backup/recovery concepts.
• Experience managing offshore/onshore teams.
