Project Manager / Sparring Partner to the CEO

Our client is a successful and well-established company in sheet metal processing and light metal construction based in Bäretswil ZH. With around 30 employees, it has been realising demanding projects in façade construction for over 45 years – from planning and design to production and installation.

Thanks to high expertise, modern infrastructure and strong regional roots, the company has earned an excellent reputation among its customers. As part of a strategic development and to relieve and support the owner/CEO, we have been commissioned to find an entrepreneurial and committed personality as Project Manager / Sparring Partner to the CEO.

Your Tasks

• Independent measurement and creation of production and assembly documents in 3D-CAD (SolidWorks)
• Overall responsibility for the support, control and monitoring of your projects – from order clarification to successful implementation
• Co-responsibility for production planning including creation or allocation of construction drawings
• Coordination and deployment planning of assigned fitters as well as management of third-party orders
• Active customer contact and representation of the CEO towards builders, planners, architects and other stakeholders
• Identifying and promoting potential within the team as well as co-shaping the strategic development of the company

Your Profile

• Technical basic training as a metal construction draughtsman, façade planner, draughtsman, designer or in a comparable field
• Further training as a foreman, technical salesman or comparable qualification is an advantage
• Experience in façade construction and passion for sheet metal processing
• Good knowledge of 3D-CAD (advantage: SolidWorks)
• Structured working method and good MS Office skills
• Strong communication skills, solution-oriented and reliable working style
• Leadership potential and pronounced team spirit
• High self-motivation, willingness to learn and entrepreneurial thinking
• Enjoyment of independent work, responsibility and scope for design
