About This Role
We are recruiting an energetic, business‑savvy Project Manager/Estimator, Service to join our Service division in our Victoria office. Here’s how your role will strengthen our team.
Houle’s Service Division delivers electrical solutions across a wide range of market sectors, managing projects from estimating and tendering to financials, procurement, dispatch, and scheduling.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities
- Estimate projects and submit tenders
- Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour
- Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as needed
- Work with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectations
- Be present on jobsites when required
- Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges
Your Experience And Skills
- Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating in a related industry
- Experience estimating projects and/or change orders
- Experience in electrical service (commercial projects) preferred
- FSR B is an asset
- Previous experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid, is an asset
- Proven ability to build strong relationships
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Good computer skills including MS Office, Procore, Teams, etc.

Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package.
