What to Expect
As Project Office Manager, you will take on a central role in a demanding HVDC turnkey project and support project management and the core team across all project phases:
- Comprehensive support for project management and the project core team in operational and organizational project execution
- Independent clarification of project-relevant execution topics in close coordination with internal subject matter experts
- Direct communication with customers and support in technical and organizational coordination
- Participation in and moderation of status meetings with customers
- Preparation and follow-up of meetings, including documentation
- Creation of results and task minutes, as well as consistent follow-up of open points
A significant focus of your work will be on the Quality Gate process, particularly:
- Supportive definition and structuring of requirements
- Maintenance and management of phase assignment in documentation overviews
- Ongoing tracking of the fulfillment status of requirements
- Supportive coordination of the fulfillment level with customers
- Regular reporting to internal stakeholders and customers
- Communication of deviations, including creation and follow-up of action plans
- Application, preparation, invitation, and execution of Quality Gate meetings
- Follow-up of open points and ensuring timely implementation
- Active deviation management and continuous improvement of project and execution processes
- Contribution of suggestions for improvement and implementation of suitable measures
What You Bring
- Completed university degree in engineering (at least Bachelor's)
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, ideally in the context of turnkey projects
- Sound experience in collaborating with external (customers, suppliers) and internal interfaces
- Structured, quality-oriented, and reliable way of working
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, confident demeanor towards customers
- Leadership experience desirable
- Quick comprehension, high degree of personal responsibility and independence
- Strong assertiveness, perseverance, and solution- and goal-oriented action
- Fluent German and English skills
